Reducing the risk of service outages in the mission critical environment
Typical computer room problems
Most computer rooms and data centres are built with cooling systems to keep internal
temperatures safely below 22ºC. However, computer equipment is often replaced and
without careful understanding of both the thermal and power distribution requirements
for the new equipment, problems can rapidly arise with the existing infrastructure.
In such circumstances, the unprepared data centre manager may have to carry out
remedial measures to keep their computer rooms and data centres functioning. Building

and is able to provide expert advice to both trouble-
